Sue Cook, the practice’s regional director for Asia Pacific, stated that the move came “in recognition of the changing environment for the healthcare sector”. She pointed to increased challenges relating to intensified scrutiny of the pharmaceutical and medical devices industry, and “uncertain timelines for reimbursement and getting to market”.
Wilson has spent the past seven years as head of external communications at Sanofi-Aventis in the UK. She has also worked alongside clients such as the National Health Service (NHS), AstraZeneca, Eisai, Eli Lilly, Janssen-Cilag, Pfizer, GSK, MSD and Novartis in previous agency roles.
She will report to Cook and be based in Sydney.
