'Friends of the garden' bring Singapore Garden Festival to colourful life

The National Parks Board commissioned Grey Global Singapore to create a colourful, integrated campaign depicting 'friends of the garden' paying a visit to the city's inaugural flower and garden show.

Organisers are aiming to attract 200,000 visitors to the December show. The idea was to illustrate the proposition that "even visitors like the sunbird, ladybug and grasshopper are so awestruck, they want to capture what they see", said Subba Raju, CEO of Grey Global Singapore.
The characters were developed with 3-D technology and will serve as the festival's new mascots. "By using animated characters, the Singapore Garden Festival feels like a cool and fun event for the whole family, not just something for botanists and horticulturists," Raju said.
