Expedia taps Facebook for 'staycation' campaign

SINGAPORE—Online travel company Expedia has launched a Facebook campaign to entice fans to ‘Get in bed’ to win a staycation travel package.

The campaign, which will run for five weeks, will encourage fans to access Expedia's Facebook page for a chance to take part in a weekly draw for a staycation in Singapore.

Fans are asked to take a picture of something yellow in bed and upload the picture to Expedia’s Facebook page via the ‘Get in bed’ mobile app.

Expedia said by accessing the app and voting for their favourite photo entry, fans will also have the opportunity to win other prizes.

At the end of each weekly contest, fans who vote for the winning photo will be entered into a prize draw for a chance to win an iconic yellow Expedia suitcase.
