Fast East Hospitality, the hospitality arm of Far East Organisation, has named the agency as its digital media agency, after a stringent two-month selection process, to manage all digital media strategies and implementation for the group’s string of prestigious hotels and serviced residences.

Properties under Far East Hospitality include the new Oasia Hotel Singapore, The Quincy Hotel, The Elizabeth Hotel, Orchard Parade Hotel, Village Hotels & Residences, and many others.

Julien Courant (pictured), managing director at DGM Asia, said Far East Hospitality was poised to expand its presence in Asia, and is expecting high revenue growth through the digital channel.

“To meet their digital needs, Far East Hospitality has aligned itself with DGM to leverage our extensive experience in the management of digital performance media.”

Betty Tan, head of marketing for Far East Hospitality, meanwhile added, “Going digital is the future for the hotel and serviced residence industry as it provides the widest coverage with the lowest cost per acquisition compared to any other traditional medium. Highly versatile and mobile, DGM Asia’s expertise in the evolving digital landscape will enable us to significantly drive our client’s business from across all of Asia’s key markets.”

DGM Asia, together with ForeverYoung Creative (FYC), have been appointed by Riverview Hotel to develop a new website, that is compatible for smartphones with quality search engine optimisation (SEO).

Courant said Riverview Hotel had the right approach to combine a pitch that includes both SEO and website design. When these two items are separated most of the time, it is often too late to start SEO work on its own, he said.

“The hospitality business in Singapore is highly competitive online and we are really confident it will be a key differentiating factor for Riverview,” he added.
