Hunt will report to Dave Allen, chairman of Enterprise IG, and Miles Young, regional chairman of Ogilvy & Mather.
Hunt said she was aiming to build Enterprise IG's network capabilities.
This will involve putting systems in place to ensure the six Asian offices share the latest information.
She added that Enterprise IG plans to conduct regular surveys, looking at the latest consumer trends in key Asian markets. Each office will have access to the findings.
Hunt also pointed out that Enterprise IG was looking to land more consumer branding work for FMCG companies. "Historically, we have been focused on developing new brands, particularly corporate brands, but now we are looking to do more on consumer branding," said Hunt.
Hunt was previously communication planning director in Sydney at WPP's J. Walter Thompson for nine years, where she managed the Kellogg's account across Asia.
Prior to that, she was new business development director on Kellogg's at JWT New York and worked in various account servicing positions at JWT London for four years.
Hunt said she joined Enterprise IG because, "I was ready to take a broader approach rather than continue to focus on advertising. I was also ready for a more strategic role and to work across the region."
While Hunt has taken Enterprise IG's top job, its regional new business development director, Andy Wheatley, has moved from Singapore to Bangkok to take up the role of managing director.
Wheatley said: "Thailand continues to be a strong market for us. We have seen significant and consistent growth in our business here for the past two years due to Thai companies' increasing confidence in brand equity and their desire to work with an international design agency with a genuine local presence and market knowledge."
