Discovery partners with HK Space Museum for sneak peek at Stephen Hawking show

HONG KONG - Discovery Channel has enlisted the Hong Kong Space Museum to help promote its new series titled 'Into the Universe with Stephen Hawking' in September.

To create buzz among its target audience, the channel is partnering with Hong Kong Space Musuem to for an interactive sneak preview.

The preview session aims to tweak the public's interest in the universe in simple and understandable terms. The sneak preview will screen footage from the Hawking special on the subjects of aliens and time travel among others.

The event, handled by PR agency Newell, is scheduled for 12 September.

The screening is supported by a panel discussion lead by keynote speakers include Wan Hoi, an expert on space, galaxy and paranormal subjects, professor Ming-chung Chu from the Department of Physics at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and a 12-year old 'astronaut' chosen by the Hong Kong Space Musuem.

The programme will on air on 19 and 26 September on i-Cable, Now TV and bbTV (Hong Kong Broadband) and will also be broadcasted in Taiwan and Singapore.
