DEDICATED EMAIL SPECIFICATIONS ACCEPTABLE FILE FORMATS HTML: You may submit your dedicated email as a complete HTML piece (with separate images and coding). Images should be in JPG or GIF format, approximately 10-15k each in file size. This is to your benefit, as you want the images to display as quickly as possible. Images need to be uploaded to a server and need to be linked to the HTML by absolute URL. If images are to be uploaded to our server, please note this when submitting materials. The HTML code should be basic to allow for differences in email clients, as in no layers, rollovers, or CSS. For further information, review or EDM Specifications [PDF 120KB]. GIF or JPEG: You may submit your dedicated email as one large image, although this is NOT best practice. The image should be no larger than 100k in file size. This is to your benefit, as you want the image to display as quickly as possible. We recommend the image width be no wider than 620 pixels, to allow for smaller screen resolutions.
WE CANNOT ACCEPT ANY FLASH FILES.
TEXT VERSION Please submit a text-only (no images) version of your email, submitted as a Word document. This will be used so recipients who cannot display images in their inbox will still receive your message.
HYPERLINKS Your dedicated email needs a click-through link so interested parties can contact you, view your website, make a reservation, etc. Please submit a link with your dedicated email.
SUBJECT LINE Please provide a subject line for your dedicated email. Examples: "Book your next event at (insert company name here)!" or "See (insert company name)'s latest products."
MATERIALS To prevent file corruption, always use Stuffit, Zip, or any Macintosh self-extraction format. Include in the subject line of your email the following tagline: "Name of Advertiser/Dedicated Email/Email Date."
