Ketchum Newscan has boosted its digital business and media solutions practices, in a bid to meet increased rates of growth in Greater China.

David Wong has been named VP, digital business and media service (DBMS) Greater China, overseeing internal development and business expansion across the division, which includes operations in Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Taipei and Hong Kong.

Reporting to Ketchum Newscan president Betty Lo, Wong boasts 25 years' experience in marketing, most recently serving a 10-year stint with Yum Brands, working on KFC and Pizza Hut.

"David will assist Ketchum Newscan in expanding the DBMS business further in an environment that holds many opportunities," said Lo. In addition, Kimberly Spear has been appointed director of strategic planning and corporate communications in Beijing.
