Wild has been appointed for a year and is the first agency for The National Crime Prevention Council, said Yeo Ai Ling, executive director and co-founder, Wild Advertising & Marketing.
The campaign will focus on educating borrowers and the public on the consequences of borrowing from unlicensed money lenders, also commonly referred to as ‘Ah Long’. The campaign will include print, TV, outdoor, digital, brochures and posters. Ling did not reveal when the campaign will be launched.
“This is a significant and meaningful win for Wild and our first Government agency win,” Ling said. “The ad messages we are developing will create strong impact on the irreversible consequences of getting involved with unlicensed money lenders."
The campaign will also focus on lenders, highlighting the punishment that comes with getting caught. It will also include an official hotline people can ring in such situations.
Wild is also the agency-of-record for the Singapore Management University and the social media agency for OCBC Bank.
