Ng, currently regional senior creative group head at Saatchi & Saatchi Singapore, will team up with TBWA as expected (Media, 2 August), and starts on 1 October.
"It's not an easy role to fill," said TBWA\Tequila Singapore's ECD and creative integrator, Asia, Graham Kelly. "What is key for the SIA account is great craft and art direction, and Pei Pei has proved herself with a heritage of great work across a number of disciplines."
Ng has been awarded at Cannes and D&AD. At Saatchis, Ng oversaw creative output for the United Overseas Bank account, after a stint at JWT as ECD managing Unilever across the region.
Prior to JWT, she spent 12 years at Ogilvy & Mather working on Nike, Nokia, Mattel, Unilever and The Economist. TBWA, which took over the SIA business from Batey in July, remains tightlipped about when its debut work will run.
New work is expected to focus on SIA's new fleet of Airbus A380 aircraft; SIA was the first airline to use the new double-decker jumbo jet.
