Tan left her role as majority shareholder and managing director of Octagon Singapore in June -- five years after forming a joint-venture with the sports marketing specialist -- and has sold her 51 per cent stake in the company to Octagon Worldwide. President of regional marketing solutions Marlene Lee has taken on the Singapore MD role.
"It's like a parent and child relationship," remarked Tan. "You have to let go."

After completing her departure from Octagon Singapore, 30-year PR veteran Rose Tan has stated that she will re-enter the business in due course.
