Steward returns to MTV Networks Asia

Former MTV Networks Asia senior vice-president of advertising sales Chris Steward has been lured back to the network, after last week's sudden departure of Toby Hayward (Media, 25 July). <BR><BR> Steward (pictured), who originally held the position from 1998 to 2004, was most recently executive vice-president of sales and operations for Sydus, a company specialising in streaming music to mobile, a role he held for just over a year. <BR><BR> Reporting to MTV Networks Asia-Pacific president Nigel Robbins, Steward will oversee ad sales functions for the company's MTV, VH1 and Nickelodeon brands across its television, broadband, online and mobile platforms. He has also been tasked with establishing integrated marketing strategies.
