Starcom forms entertainment alliance

SINGAPORE - Starcom has inked an alliance with LA-based entertainment marketing player Pier3 Entertainment, to better position American clients within Asian movies, television and music content.

The deal will attempt to offer such opportunities as product placement, integration, advertiser-funded programming, asset partnerships, content syndication, celebrity endorsement and licensing and merchandising to Pier3’s US client base.

The US company has previously handled high-profile brand tie-ups with the likes of AOL in You’ve Got Mail, and Google with Da Vinci Code. Other Pier3 clients include Cadbury and Fender Guitar.
