SOUTHEAST ASIA HEADLINES: Hong Kong's ATV strikes Thai distribution deal
Local distribution companies IT World Media and AC World Media have tied up with Hong Kong TV channel ATV to distribute its Chinese TV series in Thailand. The local companies will spend 100 million baht (US$2.5 million) this year acquiring the rights to 12 major series and promoting them, a spokesman said. Each series, which will be dubbed in Thai. The contract is for an initial three-year period.
