SHANGHAI: Singapore-based outdoor company Poster Publicity
Asia-Pacific (PPA) has set up an office in China, which it said was one
of the most fragmented outdoor advertising markets in Asia.
The Shanghai office joins PPA's regional network of offices in Hong
Kong, Manila and Kuala Lumpur and affiliates in Bombay, Seoul and
Tokyo.
PPA regional marketing manager Wong Poh Yin said the move to China was
client-driven. "We have been actively buying out-of-home media in China
for regional and international clients, including Visa, Estee Lauder and
Nokia," Wong said.
PPA has appointed Koh Khong Hua as managing director for its China
operations, Patricia Wee as account service director and Liu Jian Sheng
as operations manager.
