Sharp reviews Indonesia creative account

JAKARTA - Sharp has put its creative account up for pitch, reportedly reviewing McCann Erickson, Ogilvy, Hakuhodo, Singapore-based CreAds and long-time incumbent Dentsu.

The account includes Sharp’s entire electronics and white goods businesses, with media spend estimated at over US$5 million a year. 

A source close to the pitch said that Sharp was doing “extremely well” in Indonesia, but that the brand’s advertising was becoming complacent and needed a change.

The client could not be reached by press time.
