With a Shanghai office launch expected in the first half of 2005, the Hong Kong shop has relaunched its two divisions as Eight Partnership and Eight Publishing.
"Rebranding is the next our step in our staircase," said Eight managing partner Charles Brian-Boys. "We said: let's treat ourselves as a client and evaluate our brand."
Accordingly, the brand concept is 'clarity', with a tagline of 'Eight. Pure & Simple'.
Eight chief executive officer Chris Fjelddahl said: "The one thing that we do better than anything else is we're really able to provide clients with clarity - a clear purpose, a clear voice and a clear relationship."
Motiv8 began life 10 years ago focused on promotional, DM and CRM and only matured fully as a through-the-line agency around three years ago.
