Ogilvy & Mather’s Asia Pacific President, Paul Heath, explained that Jackson would act as a regional creative director on Coca Cola’s tea and juice brands as well as on new business opportunities.
“We are delighted with his decision to join the team,” commented Heath. “Marcus’s move once again demonstrates our commitment to, and investment in, creative firepower for our big brands.”
Jackson will work closely with Heath and regional planning director Paul Matherson, both of whom are based in Hong Kong, while reporting directly to Tham Khai Meng, Ogilvy’s co-chairman and executive regional creative director.
Meng added: “Marcus’ energy and commitment for building big brands made him an ideal candidate for this role.”
Prior to joining Ogilvy last year, Jackson founded the agency Omon in his native Australia and worked as executive creative director at Batey, overseeing accounts such as Mercedes Benz and Singapore airlines.
