Nazaroff departs New York for role at Total Australia

SYDNEY - Australian media agency TOTAL Advertising & Communications has appointed veteran researcher Annette Nazaroff in a move to increase its consumer insight capabilities and understanding of global trends.

Formerly co-chair of the Advertising Research Foundation Cross Media Committee in New York, Nazaroff will work alongside strategic directors Trudi Busch and Rachel Nolan at the Omnicom agency.

TOTAL general manager Martin Hadley described Nazaroff as a “valuable addition” to the team, citing a deep understanding of consumer behaviour and motivation.

Over the course of her career, Nazaroff has worked as chief executive of Kantar Media Research, the Americas, and established the Consumer Insights Group for MindShare Asia Pacific. She also played an important role in driving profitability for Nelson Media’s Panorama, and oversaw a transition process in the Australian radio industry’s media measurement programme.

Nazaroff’s appointment at TOTAL is effective immediately.
