MindShare Singapore head of digital Leong quits

SINGAPORE - Lee Yew Leong (pictured), director of Mindshare Interaction, has left the company a year after he joined.

The ex-Starcom IP director joined MindShare last June along with Benjamin Yeow to run MindShare’s digital operations.

Lee had been servicing two key clients, DBS and Samsung, and had a brief to "inject digital thinking into everyone in the agency," according to Jeffrey Seah, the CEO of MindShare Singapore.

MindShare had won a series of accounts after Lee and Yeow took charge including interactive duties for Sentosa Development Corporation. The agency also won an account to provide consulting services to VOIP services provider
Media ring.

Sources suggest that Lee plans to set up his own digital media firm.
