SINGAPORE: MindShare has created a new group position in Singapore,
promoting Manpreet Singh to managing director to oversee its three media
shops - MindShare, Motivator and Maximize.
Manpreet, who was general manager of MindShare, said the move was aimed
at streamlining the management structure. Under the new set-up, general
managers of the three media shops in Singapore will no longer report
separately to Kelly Clark, MindShare's Hong Kong-based Asia-Pacific
CEO.
The change also means that the Singapore operation now has the same
management structure as the China and Hong Kong offices.
The three media shops will run as separate businesses but Manpreet is
hoping to gain synergies by ensuring they work together in commissioning
research, implementing proprietary software tools and conducting
training schemes. Deepika Nikhilender, who was previously director of
MindShare, will take over Singh's previous role as general manager of
MindShare.
Margaret Soebardi has been promoted from business director of Maximize
to general manager of Motivator.
She replaces Karin Galley-Dick who becomes general manager of Maximize,
taking over from Darragh Hardy, who left last week to become managing
partner at MindShare Bangkok.
