MEDIA-I: Upstream adds Gorrilla Asia to marketing offer

<p>HONG KONG: Marketing and media consultancy Upstream Asia has </p><p>acquired events company Gorilla Asia. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>The combined company, which will keep the Upstream Asia name, will </p><p>provide online and offline services, "based on high-level 'outsourced </p><p>marketing director' consultancy, multiple (old and new media) </p><p>communications channels and a clear focus on dialogue-based marketing to </p><p>clients' communities". </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Headquartered in Hong Kong, the merged company will have 15 staff, and </p><p>offices in Taiwan and Singapore. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Paul Mottram, former chief executive officer of Gorilla Asia, will take </p><p>on the role of chief operating officer at the merged company. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>David Ketchum will remain chief executive officer of Upstream Asia. </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
