Media understands that McCann has secured the business from Lowe, WE Marketing and Ogilvy & Mather, which each previously handled Nestea brands, including the premier Lemon Tea brand. McCann representatives declined to comment when contacted by Media.
The decision is thought to be based on McCann’s launch of a new Nestea brand in Hong Kong, the Authentic Tea House. Starcom, which handles media planning and buying, was not affected by the shift.
