TOKYO Le Meridien hotel group is expanding its global alliance with Nikko Hotels International, which will enlarge the two groups' network to encompass 169 properties in 63 countries.
The expansion adds 22 Nikko properties - all 21 hotels in Japan and one in China, the Quingdao Hai Tian Hotel.
The groups signed their sales, marketing and reservations alliance including all Nikko Hotels outside Japan last year.
