Hotels record large rise in revenue

In March, Singapore hotels recorded US$61 million in room revenue and an average room rate of US$79, an increase of 17.6 per cent and 7.4 per cent respectively over March 2004.

Meanwhile the average occupancy rate for hotels was estimated to be a very healthy 84 per cent. However these figures have not caused Singapore's hotel industry to become complacent.
