Agencies in Taiwan were waiting on the result of The Taiwan Tobacco
& Wine Monopoly Bureau's pitch for its Taiwan Beer brand as media went
to press. The account is worth NTdollars 50 million (USdollars 1.5
million) for the remainder of 2001. Taiwan Beer has an 80 per cent share
of the island's beer market.
Incumbent Eastern Advertising has had the account for three years.
