Haymarket, the UK-based publisher of about 50 niche titles
including Campaign and Revolution, has formally taken full control of
Media & Marketing (M&M), publisher of MEDIA, Asian Brand News, Asian PR
News and MEDIA China.
Revolution Asia publisher Andy Bridge is now publishing director of M&M
and will be responsible for all the group's titles.
Mr Ken McKenzie, former publisher of the group's titles, will still be
involved with M&M, but will also play a wider role with Haymarket
ventures in Asia.
Haymarket initially purchased a minority shareholding early last year
and the purchase of the remaining shares of M&M comes at a time when the
group has increased its publishing activities in Asia-Pacific through
its SCMP-Haymarket joint venture.
The JV recently launched two titles in the region, CEI Asia-Pacific,
targeting the conference, exhibition and incentive travel sector, and
Revolution, the Internet marketing and advertising magazine.
