Ginns to replace Cathay's Stewart-Cox

HONG KONG - Cathay Pacific general manager of marketing Charlie Stewart-Cox is believed to be taking on a new role in the airline's operations department, with Japan country manager James Ginns expected to fill the vacancy.

Stewart-Cox has held the position for almost a decade, and prior to joining the marketing operation, was general manager, group public affairs, Swire Group, responsible for media and PR activities for Cathay Pacific and it’s parent group.

Most recently, he spearheaded the integration of Dragonair’s marketing and communications department and strategy into Cathay’s platform, a move which saw the business consolidated with McCann Erickson and Universal McCann at the expense of Leo Burnett and Starcom.
