FCB India picks up Knoll's Cremadiet brand
<p>MUMBAI: FCB-Ulka has won the Telco Construction Equipment account </p><p>and Knoll Pharmaceutical business in India, with total billings of both </p><p>accounts expected to reach more than 80 million rupees (about US$1.7 million) annually. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>According to FCB-Ulka managing director, Anil Kapoor, the agency pitched </p><p>against SSC&B Lintas, BBDO, Hindustan Thompson Associates and five other </p><p>agencies for the Teleco Construction business. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>"Both of these wins are new businesses and were not handled by any </p><p>agency prior to the pitch." </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Kapoor said the Telco Construction work would be handled by FCB-Ulka's </p><p>direct and interactive units. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>FCB-Ulka won the Knoll Pharmaceutical business to handle the Cremadiet </p><p>brand. The agency, which runs a healthcare division working on other </p><p>brands for the pharmaceutical company, pitched against Lintas. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>"The Knoll work is additional business from an existing client. FCB-Ulka </p><p>was picked to handle the two businesses over the other agencies because </p><p>we have a proven track record with other brands that are in the same </p><p>category - automobiles and pharmaceuticals," said Kapoor. </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
