ESPN Star Sports lands UEFA internet rights
ESPN Star Sports has expanded its coverage of UEFA Champions League football, acquiring the rights to cover content online. The agreement means the sports broadcaster will handle live internet and broadband rights, and comes in conjunction with a renewal of its existing TV rights through to the 2008/09 season. The latest deal represents a continuation of the partnership between ESPN Star Sports and UEFA which has lasted 13 years.
