Dentsu lands exclusive rail deal in Taiwan

Dentsu has won the contract to sell adspace on Taiwan's North-South High Speed Rail Project, a new railway linking Taipei with Kaohsiung due to open for business in October this year. <BR><BR> Ad sales on trains and stations will be handled exclusively by X-Line Hypermedia, a new firm being set up Dentsu Taiwan and its media agency Media Palette, due to open on July 6. Construction of the railway line began in 1999, the first example of Japan's 'Shinkansen' or bullet train technology exported to another market.
