Dentsu and ADK form Technorati alliance

Dentsu and Asatsu-DK have partnered with the Japanese arm of Technorati, a specialist search engine for blogs, in a quest to develop new marketing tools based on consumer generated media. <BR> <BR> Dentsu and its majority-owned subsidiary cyber communications inc have both taken a 17 percent stake, while ADK has taken a 15 percent share, in a new venture called CGM Marketing, which will be majority-owned by Technorati Japan's owner, Digital Garage. <BR> <BR> As well as Technorati, CGM Marketing will work with other consumer media sites, such as travel site 4travel.jp and restaurant guide tabelog.com, to develop internet marketing products and services. The new company is slated to launch in the first week of the August.
