CONNECTIONS: ICLP retains CX Loyalty account for 3 more years

HONG KONG: Cathay Pacific Loyalty Programmes (CPLP) has reappointed incumbent International Customer Loyalty Programmes (ICLP) for three years.

The CPLP account, which employs more than 120 staff, includes programme marketing and communications management, as well as servicing the operations of The Marco Polo Club and Asia Miles programmes.

According to Kevin Boland, ICLP regional director, ICLP was the only company invited to pitch for the business. He added the company worked closely with McCann Relationship Marketing, which handles the Cathay Pacific business, as an "extension of the client.

"We will brief creative agencies and are really the client for the agencies. We will be using a combination of traditional and digital communications that would depend on who, where and why we were targeting, Boland said.

ICLP has been involved in the set-up, development and delivery of the two programmes since 1998.
