CLP Hong Kong announces shortlist

HONG KONG - Hong Kong's leading power company CLP has announced the shortlist for its creative account, with Grey Worldwide, Ogilvy & Mather, JWT and incumbent partner Publicis all making it through to the next round.

The shortlist was decided after initial presentations, which also included Leo Burnett, M&C Saatchi, BBDO, DDB and Euro RSCG, with TBWA and Y&R declining to pitch.

According to sources, the brief is focusing on the development of a brand platform for the next phase in the company’s communications strategy, strategic input and enhancing brand perceptions.

One source involved in the pitch said: “Although no agency is happy when everyone is invited to pitch, CLP has handled it well. They have not asked us to revise anything, so they expect the strategy and content to be the same for the next round.”
