Client expansion sparks roll out of Carat Int'national

Media specialist Carat has reshuffled its regional management to service a recently-created Asian arm for its international management and development division, Carat International.

Carat's regional MD Anna Azilli now becomes MD of the new operation, with support from regional business director Lyn Rogers. The appointments foreshadow the de- parture of Carat's regional CEO David Liu, who is to leave the network either later this year or early 2006.

Carat International's London-based CEO Susannah Outfin said that successful expansion into Asia by European clients such as adidas, Philips, Mango and BMW made it a natural progression to extend Carat International's network into Asia.

Carat has also moved two senior managers to Hong Kong to service the new operation, transferring Will Swayne from Carat International UK to work on regional business development as well as a number of international and regional accounts, and relocating Nigel Blakemore from Singapore as VP of business development, brand and communications.

Carat has also moved former strategic director of its Taiwan office Edna Aw to manage a new Singapore office for Carat International. Aw takes the role of VP of regional business.
