Called Insurance Asia, the company said the bi-monthly would have a circulation of 6,000. It will be distributed in Asia, with a focus on Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, India, China and Korea. The magazine will focus on life insurance, general insurance, reinsurance, risk management and service providers.
Said deputy publisher Angela McFeeters: "Currently, there is only one magazine in the market for the insurance industry. We think it's important for readers to have a choice and for companies marketing their products to have options."
Insurance Asia will initially be distributed with Asian Banking and Finance, the company's other title.
The tabloid-sized title carries news and analysis, personality profiles as well as columns.
