Mr Peter Soh, previously of Fong, Haque & Soh Singapore, has been

lured back into a fulltime advertising job.

Mr Soh has been hired as chief executive officer and executive creative

director of Saatchi & Saatchi Shanghai.

He and his partners sold Fong, Haque and Soh almost three years ago to

TBWA.

Since then and until recently, he worked as a consultant to a number of

companies including Singapore Press Holdings.

Other jobs included judging at award shows across Asia-Pacific, and

lecturing and conducting workshops for various agencies, clients and

students in Hong Kong, Taiwan and China.

Mr Soh said he took the job because he believed in Saatchis and because

he wanted to work in China.

"I have worked in almost every market in Asia. I feel I will make a

difference to our industry, clients and people in China. After 27 years

in this business, it was a conscious decision on my part to move at

least once more," he said.

"I feel I have much more to offer and that I'm not finished with this

business. In some ways, it's a new beginning for me."

Saatchis regional creative director Craig Davis told MEDIA that Mr Soh

was a major hire, because he enjoys a high reputation and because Fong

Haque & Soh was one of Asia's most respected and awarded local agencies.
