Bobby Fresh hands $1m creative to Bates141 Vietnam

HO CHI MINH CITY - Vietnamese consumer goods firm Diana has awarded the US$1 million advertising account for its Bobby Fresh brand to Bates141 as the firm prepares to take on market-leader Unilever in the diapers category.

Bates141 was selected ahead of pitch rivals Leo Burnett, Storm Eye and FSV after a two-month review. The contract will run until 2010.

Do Anh Tu, the chief executive of Diana, said: We were impressed with the strategic thinking, creative work and the 360-degree approach presented by the Bates141 team. We saw that Bates141 share the same passion as us and we are all excited to commence our partnership with them in fulfilling our vision for Bobby Fresh.

Tue Nguyen, Bates141 Vietnam’s GM, commented: Given that Bates141 Vietnam beat three other well-regarded agencies, it’s an indication of Diana’s confidence in us.
