BBC World unveils phase three of global campaign

SINGAPORE - BBC World has unveiled the third phase of its 'Putting news first' campaign.

The latest instalment of the campaign, which first launched in March 2005, is based on the idea of ‘spontaneous reality’, and demonstrates how one angle on an Iraq news story is analysed, shot and broadcast by the teams in Baghdad, Washington and London.

Launching with 60- and 30-second treatments, the push aims to show how BBC World puts news first in a live, unscripted, fly-on-the-wall style, including the research and compilation of the finished product.
