Wattyl Paint launches new campaign with four TVC series

SYDNEY – Valspar’s Wattyl Paint has launched a new campaign, 'Wattyl familyfy your home' with a series of four TVCs created by Draftfcb in Sydney.

Targeting home renovators and DIY’ers, the reality show-style series sees the Wattyl brand turn into a DIY specialist, ‘The Familyfier’, to help two naive yet enthusiastic homeowners prepare their home for an unborn baby.

The four spots, 'Range', 'Love Colour', 'Solagard' and 'Interior', were rolled out last night and will run six nights a week for six weeks after The Block – All Stars, one of the Australia’s highest-rated DIY shows.

“Paint isn’t just for colouring walls; it’s the final touch to creating a home,” said Pattie Erps, Wattyl Paint’s national sales and marketing director. “Wattyl understands, celebrates and encourages no-holds-barred family living. That’s why we create durable paints designed to withstand honest everyday life, in all its noisy, unabashed glory.”

The campaign features Wattyl’s Interior Design, Solagard and Weathergard Decking Oil brands and the Wattyl Love Your Colour Guarantee.
