Yahoo hands search account to Ogilvy in Taiwan

TAIPEI - Yahoo has appointed Ogilvy & Mather as creative agency of record for its search facility in Taiwan without a pitch.

Currently ranked as Taiwan’s leading search engine, the global internet services company is reportedly seeking to reinforce the position of Search in the market, with a new campaign expected to roll out in July.

A spokesperson for Ogilvy said that details as to the approach and content of the campaign have yet to be confirmed.

Ogilvy & Mather Taiwan managing director David Lee was unavailable for comment on the win.
