System helps in better ad planning, claims FCB unit

NEW DELHI: FCB India is rolling out a new ad planning tool, which it claims can increase efficiencies at the planning stage by up to 50 per cent.

Its media division, Lodestar, said its Mediagraphics system focuses on market segmentation through the study of media habits and consumption patterns. Lodestar executive director, Shashi Sinha, said: "Since segments have distinct and different media habits, it is easy to develop plans which not only make the right media selections, but also indicate when to stop (a campaign)."
