STB marketing chief departs after 14 months

SINGAPORE - Singapore Tourism Board's (STB) marketing head Winnie Pua (pictured) is leaving to spearhead the Asia-Pacific marketing drive for Limitless Company, the real estate arm of Middle Eastern conglomerate Dubai World.

Pua brings to an end just over a year spent driving the "Uniquely Singapore" brand and creative strategy for the government agency, which she joined from O2 in May 2007 as director of brand management.

Limitless has won global fame through its multi-billion dollar 'Palm Islands' and 'The World' projects, man-made island resorts off the coast of Dubai created to attract the rich and famous.

"Limitless has ambitions to venture into the US, Europe and Asia-Pacific. I will be driving their push into this region," she told Media.

"Branding in real estate is a new game, and Dubai World wants to create the first global property development brand. They want to be the Coca-Cola of the property world, and I'm excited to be part of that."
