Proximity Singapore wins Aviva Ironman

SINGAPORE - Aviva has awarded a digital advertising brief for the 2008 Aviva Ironman triathlon in Singapore to Proximity after a round of pitching with OgilvyOne.

The pitch was contested at the end of last year, when Blue was eliminated after an initial list of three agencies.

Melissa Teoh, head of brand, Aviva, Asia Pacific, said: “We were looking for was an agency which not only showed a strong understanding of our audience, but also one which could show us how we can use that understanding to take Aviva Ironman 70.3 Singapore to the next level this year."

Publicis handles the insurance company's US$7 million offline regional brand work, but was not involved in the process.
