The project will involve a full revamp of EDB's current static site into an enterprise- level site, which will allow greater flexibility in published content and faster turnaround time, according to Ken Mandel, chief executive officer and regional director of XM.
"During the next few months, XM and EDB will be working together to unearth and unlock hidden value from EDB's online presence to deliver real business benefits and meet the challenges of integrating seamlessly with existing traditional marketing plans," Mandel said.
An EDB spokesperson said the assignment for XM was "part and parcel of updating and upkeeping the website to make sure that it is still offering both local and international investors value."
"Basically, we've chosen XM because it has displayed a good understanding of EDB's needs and directions. Cost competitiveness was also a key consideration as we are always looking for vendors who are able to offer us the best value for money," she added.
