The Omnicom Media Group agency now has a regional digital team of four in Singapore, including Andrew Tu, OMD’s regional digital director. They will also service clients including Standard Chartered Bank and Visa.
"We have worked hard to identify the right people to lead the offering for our brands," said Barry Cupples, CEO of OMG Asia-Pacific. "With so many challenges in the digital portfolio, we need a team of experts with complementary skill sets that can innovate and integrate with our planning teams."
Pang joins as regional digital manager, Lobo as regional digital planning manager and Kwan as regional digital project supervisor.
To date, OMD's digital expertise has been focused in Australia and Hong Kong. However, the move of multinational clients' regional headquarters to Singapore has called for more centralised resources in the city-state, leading to the launch of OMD International Singapore last month (Media 30 July).
