The broadcaster said the agreement would link the DHL name with live rugby action, from the Super 12's to England's Home Tests, Sanzar Tests, including the Bledisloe Cup, and live and exclusive coverage of the World Cup.
DHL's sponsorship pact, which covers all four beams of Star Sports in the region, also includes the half-hour magazine show World of Rugby.
"DHL has a long and close relationship with rugby in the region," said John Mullen, chief operating officer, DHL Asia-Pacific.
The agreement follows a global relaunch campaign by the express and logistics company following its full acquisition of Deutsche Post World Net. The 'More power' campaign was launched in recent weeks to communicate the company's newly-acquired muscle.
