Malaysia draws up pitch guide to ensure fairness
<p>KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia has introduced a 10-point guide on pitch </p><p>procedures to inject greater fairness and professionalism in account </p><p>reviews. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Noticeable among the guidelines was one recommending that advertisers </p><p>limit pitches to three agencies, four if the incumbent is included. This </p><p>comes at a time when recent account reviews such as the one conducted by </p><p>the Government-owned Telekom Malaysia had a dozen agencies </p><p>competing. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>The chairman of the 4As agency management services committee, En </p><p>Khairudin Rahim, said: "Not all pitches are conducted in the fairest </p><p>manner, hence the need for some guidance." </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
