Kadence plots North Asian expansion

SINGAPORE - UK-based business-to-business market research firm Kadence Group has revealed plans to open offices in Shanghai and Hong Kong this year, following Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta openings in 2007.

The move follows strong reported company growth last year, in which revenues rose by 18 per cent, from US$8 million to US$9.3 million.

Piers Lee (pictured), managing director of Kadence Asia Pacific, said: “We have won significant new business over the past twelve months on the strength of our international reach and experience in global research.
Key recent new business wins include IndoFood and Nestle in Indonesia.

The company has yet to announce managers to run its Greater China operations, who will report to Lee. Hong Kong will act as the company’s Greater China hub.

Hong Kong and Shanghai add to Kadence offices in Delhi, Sydney, Boston, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Singapore - it’s Asia Pacific hub and London, where it is headquartered.
