IMPACT sells 40% stake to investor

BANGKOK Over 40% of IMPACT Exhibition Management has been sold to an international investor for US$200 million as Thailand's largest exhibition centre embarks on a major expansion plan.

The partial sale will have no effect on daily operations and should help the exhibition giantto grow during a major transitional stage in the country’s economic and political climate.IMPACT Exhibition Management managing director Paul Kanjanapas said:
“Hotels and entertainment complexes are in the pipeline, but the current economicsituation will play a bigger role in determining when we invest into these facilities.”
